I graduated from Texas A&M Univeristy in 2002, with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Management.
I enjoy the outdoors and spend my free time camping, fishing and kayaking with friends and family. I learned to play
acoustic guitar while attending school in College Station, and still play often, with most of my influence being delta-style
blues. I enjoy several blues artists including Elmore James, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
I have enjoyed working outdoors during the summer months as a crew leader for the Student Conservation Association, and
as an outdoor outfitter for river activity with Cordillera Ranch. The Student Conservation Association is a non-profit organization
that gives students the opportunity to work outdoors for various federal and state parks around the U.S. during thier time
off from school in the summer. Cordillera Ranch is a private club where I took children of club members on fishing trips,
kayaks adventures and other outdoor activities.
You can find me on campus in my office during my conference period, and you can always reach me via e-mail.
I look forward to spreading the word about science!!
