Welcome to my class!

This web site is an easy way of getting students and parents excited about science, keeping them up to date on assignments, and providing them with valuable online resources. Always look here for information that might be handy for the students after classroom hours.

Don't forget, we're taking a trip to the Museum of Science on February 22. You won't need to bring a lunch, but you must have your permission slip signed and with you when you get on the bus.

Mouse Trap Cars

Mouse-trap cars are an exciting, hands-on way to use the information we have learned in the past few chapters, to really put science to work. I want you to use your creative side to see who can build a car that will go the farthest distance in the cafeteria. I will be providing mouse-traps of the same size and spring tension (power) to everyone so the strength of the cars will be the same. Other than the trap, you can use any materials you like for the frame, wheels and axles.
